How do I flash the tuning file onto my car?
You can easily flash the tuning file yourself – either with the MHD app or via a tuning request at Bootmod3 .
- Download the MHD app to your smartphone, connect to your vehicle using a compatible OBD cable or wireless adapter, and flash the tuning file directly via the app. Instructions can be found in the app or on the official MHD website.
- If you use Bootmod3, you can send us a tuning request after purchase. We'll upload your tuning file to your Bootmod3 account – all you have to do is flash it via the app.
If you are unsure which tool to use or need help flashing, please contact us – we will support you step by step.
Do the catalysts for flames need to be removed?
Yes , the catalytic converters must be removed or replaced with downpipes without catalytic converters. With catalytic converters installed, either no flames are produced or they are damaged or destroyed by the extreme heat.
For a safe and effective flame setup, we therefore strongly recommend a cat-less exhaust system (e.g., cat-less downpipes). Please note that operation without catalysts is not permitted on public roads in many countries and is intended exclusively for racing or export .
What fuel should I fill up with?
We recommend always using the highest octane fuel available – ideally 102 octane (e.g. Aral Ultimate, Shell V-Power Racing) or at least 98 octane .
The higher the octane rating, the better the protection against knocking (uncontrolled combustion), which is especially important for tuned engines. Low-octane fuel can lead to loss of power, misfires, or even engine damage .
If you are refueling in a country where 98/102 is not available, please contact us beforehand – we will adjust the settings accordingly.
Do you also offer support after purchase?
Yes, absolutely! Our support doesn't end with the purchase. We'll be there for you anytime afterward – whether via email, Instagram, or WhatsApp.
Upon request, we can customize the burbles , flames , or other settings for you free of charge – entirely to your liking. We'll also help you step by step with any questions you may have about flashing or setup.
