How do I flash the tuning file onto my car?
You can easily flash the tuning file yourself – either with the MHD, MG Flasher, Bootmod3 App or using our QUICK Flasher.
- Open the MHD or MG Flasher app, connect to your vehicle via a compatible OBD cable or a wireless adapter, and flash the tuning file we sent you directly through the app.
- If you use Bootmod3, you can send us a tuning request after purchase. We will upload your tuning file to your Bootmod3 account – you then just need to flash it via the app.

Do the catalysts need to be removed for flames?
Yes, the catalytic converters must be removed or replaced with catless downpipes. With catalytic converters installed, either no flames at all will be produced, or they will be damaged or destroyed.
For a safe and effective flame setup, we therefore strongly recommend a catless exhaust system (e.g., catless downpipes). Please note that operating without catalytic converters on public roads is not permitted in many countries and is intended exclusively for racing or export purposes.
Which fuel should I use?
We recommend always using the highest octane fuel available – ideally 102 octane (RON) (e.g., Aral Ultimate, Shell V-Power Racing) or at least 98 octane. An ethanol mix is the best solution depending on the setup.
However, we also tune cars for 91/93 (US/California, etc.).
The higher the octane number, the better the protection against knocking (uncontrolled combustion), which is extremely important, especially for tuned engines. Low octane fuel can lead to loss of performance, misfires, or even engine damage.
If you are refueling in a country where 98/102 octane is not available, please contact us beforehand – we will adjust the tuning accordingly.
Do you also offer after-sales support?
Yes, absolutely! Our support does not end with your purchase. We are here to help you anytime afterwards – whether by email, Instagram, or WhatsApp.
Upon request, we can, for example, adjust the burbles, flames, or other settings for you free of charge afterwards – exactly to your taste. We will also help you step by step with any questions about flashing or setup.

In the dashboard, you can chat with us directly, read out your vehicle data, and send us the file for optimization. As soon as your individually tuned file is ready, you can flash it back into your vehicle with just one click – quickly, securely, and entirely via OBD.
You can manage all vehicles you use with your RAPID Flashers via the garage. Each device is linked to a VIN, but multiple vehicles can be registered and managed within the app.
As soon as you read out your vehicle with the SCHNELL Flash, the original ECU file will be automatically transmitted to us. We will optimize your file individually for your vehicle and send it back to you directly via the app – ready for flashing.

Do I need Wi-Fi / internet?
Yes, a 4G / 5G or Wi-Fi connection is required to send the file read from the control unit to the cloud interface.
Can I flash multiple vehicles with one SCHNELL Flash?
No, the SCHNELL Flasher is linked to the selected vehicle by its VIN. However, you can manage multiple vehicles with one app.
Do I need a charger?
We definitely recommend performing all read/write operations with a connected battery charger to ensure stable voltage and prevent the vehicle from shutting down.
Does my ECU need an OBD unlock to be flashed via OBD?
Some ECUs need to be unlocked before an OBD flash. In such rare cases, the ECU must be removed and sent to our partner workshop in Thuringia. The master car repair shop is centrally located in Germany to ensure short shipping and processing times. The OBD unlock procedure costs €149 — we cover €50 of this amount as a gesture of goodwill, meaning you only pay €99.
Is removing the control unit difficult?
The control unit can be removed quickly and easily. Many customers remove it themselves - alternatively, any independent workshop can help.
